Besides others there can be 2 main reasons for Al-Qaeda just
to target only the Americans - either it has become extremely serious to take revenge of the assassination of their chief leader Osama Ben Laden or a certain stronger power source, a dead enemy of USA is pushing the Al-Qaeda militants to
keep on fighting against USA to weaken it (USA) on their (the enemy's) vested interest.
