// ISLAMABAD: Attorney General Munir  A Malik has said that there was strong evidence against former military ruler Pervez Musharraf in the treason case. 

He said that the Special Court would hear any bail application filed by the accused. The AG said that President of Pakistan had the power to pardon the accused.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif approved a panel of three judges for the trial of Musharraf for high treason under article 6 ofSpeaking with reporters, Malik said that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) could arrest the accused with the registration of a complaint in the Special Court.

The AG said that the accused could get capital punishment or life term. According to Malik, the case against Musharraf could be decided swiftly.

Government forms special court to hear Musharraf high treason trial

// ISLAMABAD: The government has formed a special court to hear former president General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf's high treason trial under Article 6 of Constitution, Geo News reported.

According to Prime Minister House, the government has approved a three-member bench, which will be headed by Sindh High Court's Justice Faisal Arab.

Balochistan High Court's Justice Syde Tahira Safdar and Lahore High Court's Justice Yawar Ali are the other two members of the bench.

Earlier, the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry had asked the five high courts to nominate one judge each, after the government requested the Supreme Court to nominate three judges of the higher judiciary for the special court to initiate the high treason trial of former president under Article 6 for subverting the Constitution while imposing the emergency and Provisional Constitutional Order (PCO) on November 3, 2007..........................//

It has been observed on several occasions that due to deliberate mistakes by the the hospitals and their staffs some patients suffer unduly and even lose their life that stand beyond insurance coverage too, for which needful action against them (hospitals) is highly desirable.
