The concept that the older one grows, the weaker he or she gets mentally ha turn now wrong because most most metropolitan projects are planned and run more successfully better by aged people than the young ones can or could do. Most of the aged presidents of the world do or did better than younger ones do or did, e.g. most popularly successful  American presidents were the elder ones.
