fruitcake.

length of four city blocks – the whopper of a cake was whipped up by
Shick Bakery over two days to help local sick children’s charities.

Thefruitcake – cracking the scales at a hefty 14,454 kilograms (31,865
pounds) – got the green light from the Guinness organization’s envoy
for Latin America, Ralph Hannah, at a brief ceremony in Managua.............//

Govt seeks formation of special court for Musharraf treason trial

// ISLAMABAD: The Interior Minister on Monday sent the letter seeking to initiate
treason proceedings against former military dictator Pervez Musharraf to
the Law Ministry.

After receiving the letter, officials from
the Law Ministry have taken it to the Supreme Court Registrars office.
The letter seeks the formation of a special court for the trial of
Pervez Musharraf under Article 6 of the constitution.

Interior
Minister Chaurdhy Nisar Ali Khan announced on Sunday that the Federal
Investigation Agency (FIA) committee had submitted its inquiry report,
in light of which a treason case would be initiated against Musharraf..................//

HEALTH AWARENESS WELFARE (HAW): 29 more dengue fever cases reported in Karachi

// KARACHI: Twenty-nine more dengue viral fever cases were reported in Karachi from 15th to16th November, increasing the patient toll 3,942 in 2013, said Dr M Shakeel Aamir Mullick Focal Person for Dengue Surveillance Cell Sindh on Saturday.

He said that a total of 4,528 dengue fever cases have been reported in Sindh province since January 2013, out of which 3,942 were detected in Karachi and 586 in rest of Sindh province.

He informed that 24 dengue fever patients died in Karachi, while two expired in Hyderabad this year so far.................................//
